I started with a Lemon design, because WHO DOESN'T LOVE LEMONADE. That was the first fruit tree we planted when we bought our home.
Then I quickly realized, well this pattern actually kills MULTIPLE BIRDS (or fruits) with ONE stone. ALL you have to do is change the colors a little bit and you get a LIME
And if you tweak the colors a little bit more, you get an ORANGE.
And because you have so many different options, I named this blanket the Citrus Blanket!

Materials needed to complete the LEMON blanket:
- Size I Crochet Hook (5.5MM) (This is the set I use: Boye 6-Piece Aluminum Crochet Hook Set)
- 3 Skeins Pink (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft - Watermelon)
- 3 Skeins Light Pink (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft - Strawberry)
- 1 Skein Bright Yellow (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft - Lemonade)
- 1 Skein White (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft - White)
- 3 Skeins Soft Yellow (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft – Baby Sunshine)
- Yarn Needle

Gauge:- Size I Crochet Hook (5.5MM) (This is the set I use: Boye 6-Piece Aluminum Crochet Hook Set)
- 3 Skeins Blue (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft - Cobalt Blue)
- 3 Skein Light Blue (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft - Soft Blue)
- 1 Skein Green (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft - Kelly Green)
- 1 Skein White (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft - White)
- 3 Skeins Light Green (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft – Limelight)
- Yarn Needle

- 1 Skein Light Orange (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft – Gold)

- 3 Skein Light Yellow (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft – Baby Sunshine)
- 3 Skeins Persimmon (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft - Persimmon)
- 1 Skein White (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft - White)
- 1 Skein Light Orange (I recommend Caron’s Simply Soft – Gold)
- Yarn Needle
Gauge not essential, C2C Crochet a triangle 8 blocks high. If your triangle measures 5.5” tall, your project will end up being 45”x 55”.
