Year-long Blanket

I call this my year-long blanket because it took me nearly a year to complete it. I started the project while pregnant with my now 10 month old (see, year long!!). It's taken me forever to complete because, well, I have 3 kids now. I kept at it though, and it's turned out beautifully. It is a gift for my mother, who, as you have probably guessed, loves the color purple!
