Forget-Me-Not Flower C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

You know what they say, "April showers bring May-Flowers"! Our landscape in San Diego has been covered in flowers. We have been having regular rain at least once a week (which is really unusual for our area), and so all of the plants have been getting plenty of water. The unfortunate thing about this is that it waters the flowers AND the weeds! But I am definitely one to focus on the beauty I see around me, and I love seeing the flowers on all the hillsides as I drive around. This is why I designed this forget-me-not blanket, with a dainty blue flower. They remind me of the flowers I enjoy every day! I hope you enjoy this new design!

Tulip Flower C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

April brings the beginnings of SPRING! The weather is warming up, and the ground is thawing, signaling to bulb plants that it is time to wake up! This is why I chose to make April's design feature a gorgeous tulip! I am very excited to share with you my Tulip C2C Blanket design!

Lavender Blanket - C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

I'm excited to share this next design in my storybook flower series. This design features a Lavender plant- and I can almost smell it through the screen! I plan on planting several lavender plants in my yard when we finally re-landscape it. They are one of my favorite flowers! I hope you enjoy this design!

Rose C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

Here is the next design in my flower series. This is the Rose C2C Blanket. This one was also inspired by the storybook cover style and while I wanted to continue with the two-toned design trend, I just loved the depth that the color brings to the rose. I hope you enjoy this design!

Lily Flower C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

I can't believe it's been a YEAR since my last blog post. I am SHOCKED because I have still been crafting plenty, and still coming up with designs, but I just couldn't take anything to the finish line! BUT NOT THIS YEAR! I'm so excited to get back into the saddle and start publishing my patterns again. 

I hope you love this one! This is the Lily C2C Blanket. I was inspired by the style of classic storybook covers and wanted to create designs that featured flowers in that style. So this was born! I have a few more coming out, so be on the look out!

Crochet King Snake - FREE CROCHET PATTERN

I was attending a craft fair earlier this month, and I needed to make a variety of items at reasonable prices. HOWEVER, the market needed a raffle item valued at $25+, and none of my items were priced that high. My items were all smaller plushies priced with kids in mind. So I began searching some crochet groups on Facebook to try and get some ideas. I saw a really cool snake pattern that everyone was commenting on. When I initially attempted the pattern, I found it was just WAY to big for the blanket yarn, and while I needed a larger finished product, I didn't want one THAT large. So I went to work trying different possibilities to make a smaller, BABY snake. Then I needed to decide on color combinations... and I decided to make this one more realistic! I looked up a ton of different snake color combinations to find one that would look amazing in crochet, and I found one- the KING SNAKE!

Autumn Leaves C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

This is a gorgeous time of year, when the leaves change color and nature seems to be falling asleep. We don't get a whole lot of color change here in San Diego, but the shorter nights and cooler weather does give us an Autumn vibe. We always get very excited when we drive by a tree that actually changes colors with the seasons! So here you can make your own Autumn themed blanket!

Plush Market Hearts - FREE CROCHET PATTERN

Hearts are a beautiful symbol of love. TEN YEARS AGO ago I crocheted some plush hearts for my girls. They loved them when I made them from worsted weight yarn, because they fit in their hands perfectly. I got a hold of some blanket yarn this summer, and wanted to make some new hearts to sell in my upcoming market. My (now older) kids love these ones just as much as the little ones. The blanket yarn makes them squishy and huggable! 

Celestial C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

When I was a kid, I loved the stars. I had a telescope and was fascinated by the expanse above us. I loved stars and the constellations. I loved the stories that history passed down to us with zodiacs and the constellations. I loved that navigation was possible using the stars as a compass. I designed this blanket for all those who love celestial beings, the sun, moon and stars! I was able to incorporate the Sun, Moon, and Stars in this design. I loved that I was able to include the phases of the moon. I think it made it look beautiful! I hope you enjoy this design!

Snowflake Throw - C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

Welcome to 2022 everyone! This is going to be a very exciting year of continued growth and progress, as well as a lot of crocheting! I have been busy designing new patterns and at the same time SUPER busy with a home renovation project. Right now our kitchen is halfway done, due to supply chain issues... We are waiting another few weeks to get our last cabinets! So while I am waiting, I polished off a few more patterns ready to go!

This is a new blanket design similar to my January Wall Hanging pattern from my e-book, A Year of Wall Hangings. I wanted to use similar designs from my wall hangings to make blankets, so here is the first one! This is the Snowflake Throw, and I hope you enjoy it!

Wrapped Present C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

I originally designed this blanket in the middle of the Christmas season of 2020. There was so much going on that I forgot to release it on time, so I decided to hold onto it until the 2021 season, so here it is! For Christmas this year, I wanted a way to remember a child's favorite thing about Christmas, THE PRESENTS! How lovely is this blanket design that looks like a wrapped present? 4 Color Plus C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

I am really excited to share this next design with you. When I first started designing these C2C blankets, I made this 6 color plus blanket. I also toyed around with a 4 color version, but I just could not get it to look right. I gave up and worked on other designs. This summer I found myself with a little extra designing time, and I played around with it more and I finally got the colors right! I am very happy to share this 4 color plus blanket with you!
