Rnd 3: Ch 2, dc in next 1 dc, 2 dc in next dc, across. Join. (36)
Rnd 4: Ch 2, dc in next 5 dc, 2 dc in next dc, across. Join. (42)
Rnd 5-9: Ch 3, dc in the last ch from row before(This forms one crossed set of double crochet) * sk 1 dc, dc in next st, then dc in the skipped st. Repeat from * around (42) (5 rows total)
Rnd 10: Ch 2, dc in each dc around (42)
Brim
Row 1: Ch 1, 1 sc in next 4sts, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 6sts, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 4 sts . Turn, no chain
Row 2: Sc dec in next 2 sts, 1 sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 4 sts, 2 sc in next st, 1 sc in next 4 sts, sc dec in last 2 sts. Turn, no chain
Row 3: sc dec in next 2 sts, 1 sc in next 14 sts, sc dec in last two sts

Can I ask what the Chain 21 in Round 10 is for? I am getting ready tp makethis, but not seeing why it is there. Thanks so much!
ReplyDeleteActually, that's a typ-o. It's supposed to be just Ch 2. I fixed it on the pdf, but forgot to fix it on here!!

DeleteI just finished this adorable hat. I added a little strap above the brim and put a little button at the end. So cute. It looks like a little hunting hat since I made it in camouflage.
