When I was a kid, I loved the stars. I had a telescope and was fascinated by the expanse above us. I loved stars and the constellations. I loved the stories that history passed down to us with zodiacs and the constellations. I loved that navigation was possible using the stars as a compass. I designed this blanket for all those who love celestial beings, the sun, moon and stars! I was able to incorporate the Sun, Moon, and Stars in this design. I loved that I was able to include the phases of the moon. I think it made it look beautiful! I hope you enjoy this design!

Snowflake Throw - C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

Welcome to 2022 everyone! This is going to be a very exciting year of continued growth and progress, as well as a lot of crocheting! I have been busy designing new patterns and at the same time SUPER busy with a home renovation project. Right now our kitchen is halfway done, due to supply chain issues... We are waiting another few weeks to get our last cabinets! So while I am waiting, I polished off a few more patterns ready to go!

This is a new blanket design similar to my January Wall Hanging pattern from my e-book, A Year of Wall Hangings. I wanted to use similar designs from my wall hangings to make blankets, so here is the first one! This is the Snowflake Throw, and I hope you enjoy it!

I had some awesome ideas for some new Halloween designs, and I'm super excited to share them with you! This design is called Moonlight Cat! It's not strictly Halloween themed, but it features a spooky cat under a full moon light. I really love how it turned out, I hope you like it!

Big and Little Dipper Constellation C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

This is the last design (for now) in my constellation series. The last design featured the big dipper, but like I mentioned, it is actually URSA Major; and this blanket features both bears, Ursa Major and Ursa Minor. Using these constellations you can find the NORTH STAR, also featured in this blanket. I hope you enjoy this design and all the designs in this series!

This is the next design in my Constellation series. This is probably the most famous constellation out there. Everyone loves the Big Dipper! However, not many people know that this is actually called Ursa Major. The constellation is not supposed to be a spoon, but it is a BEAR! Did you know that? Now, if you love Ursa Major, you can make yourself a blanket for it!

Cassiopeia Constellation C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

This is the next design in my Constellation series. This is a much lesser known constellation, called Cassiopeia. I love this constellation because it is a very noticeable "W" in the sky. Imagine the vain Queen Cassiopeia lounging on her throne, the "W" shape. It is a very fun constellation to find. I challenge you to try to locate this constellation on the next clear night. 

Orion Constellation C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

I don't know about you, but I've had the busiest summer OF MY LIFE! With families scrambling to figure out their back to school plans, my education consulting service has been BOOMING. I've been helping many families understand their choices within our local district and homeschooling options. Education has always been my first love, so crocheting had to take the back seat for a while. Helping others is just my favorite thing to do. I also just got back from a weeklong vacation at the beach, and it was so nice to escape the heatwave in my town and spend time with my family! I'm energized and refocusing my crocheting efforts!

This is the first design of my next series, CONSTELLATIONS! As a child, I loved looking at the stars, and my telescope was my best friend. I loved my books that told the stories behind the famous constellations. This is a short series of my TOP 3 FAVORITE CONSTELLATIONS.... starting with the famous ORION constellation. Orion was a hunter, and you can see him holding his bow. Most people only know how to find ORION'S BELT, 3 very distinct stars in a row. I challenge you to try to find the whole constellation. If you are a fan of the ORION CONSTELLATION, then this blanket is for you!

Herringbone 1 Color C2C Blanket - FREE GRAPH

This is the final addition to my Herringbone Blanket patterns. This version is just a single color against a white background to get a classy Herringbone blanket. This means there are two colors used total.

I don't think that this style will ever go out of fashion. It looks so amazing in bold colors, and also looks fabulous in soft colors. Make yourself one or gift it to a friend!
